About Me

I am a 3rd year Computer Science student at ICI College who loves software engineering! Recently, I won 2nd place in Blitz Programming during the IT Summit 2026.

My focus primarily involves building full-stack web applications using .NET, Astro, and Preact as well as CLI scripts in Bash and PowerShell that automate or solve specific friction points. Currently, I develop using Zed and WSL.

My favorite language is C# because I enjoy type safety and a structured codebase. As a bonus, AI benefits from type definitions, too. I prefer C# over Java or Rust because I find it ergonomic and best for developer velocity.

I leverage AI to increase productivity, while maintaining total ownership of product reliability.

I am an advocate of free and open-source software and actively studying to be able to contribute soon. My goal is to build a strong foundation and prepare for software engineering roles.

Outside of tech, I'm a fan of information serendipity and regularly diving into topics such as economics, psychology, and self-optimization.

I use Arch Colemak-DH, btw.

Developer Journey

Year Role Focus
2017 Web Basics Learned HTML and a bit of CSS. Made my first website.
2018 Programming Fundamentals Learned about control flows in C++ (no reference types, thankfully). Made console games in my free time.
2019 Advanced CSS Learned CSS in depth.
2020 Object-Oriented Programming Rite of passage; we used Java and made a Pokemon game.
2021 Data Structures and Algorithms Python and automated test suites gauntlet. Mind you, this was high school; I think I still have trauma from this.
2024 Computer Science enrollment Mostly retook the same old. But it is this year I was introduced to C#.
2025 Locked In Era Learned about desktop app dev and started self-studying software engineering.
Early 2026 Full-Stack Development Deployed my first web apps to the cloud, live. Won in Blitz Programming.
May 2026 - Present CLI tooling and DevOps Moved to WSL and set up modern development environment.
